Digital Media Lead

Are you a skilled storyteller behind the camera? A visual virtuoso when using Canva, Affinity or Photoshop? Do you have an eye for detail and endless creativity to share? If so, we have a spot for you on our P.I.T. Crew!

Productive I.T. has an opening for a Videographer/Social Media Specialist. We seek a passionate, creative individual who prefers a close-knit, family-like environment. One that seeks creative freedom that will enhance our and our client's brands by building strong online communities through video, podcasts, and various social media platforms.

This position will provide us and our clients with consistent, high-quality videos, podcasts, and photography to promote initiatives related to the produced content.

Comfortable office, required tools, a dedicated intern of your choosing, and your favorite snacks provided. Competitive salary commensurate with experience and desired work schedule (full or part-time available). 

Craftsmanship in video storytelling, proficiency in shooting video with DSLR or other cameras, lighting and audio techniques, knowledge of a wide range of social media outlets, and strong written and verbal communication skills required. You'll be able to use your chosen digital media storytelling program. A bachelor’s Degree in marketing, digital media, journalism, or a related field is a plus. 

Primary responsibilities include:

Photography

• Photograph/edit/upload photos to the website
• Style and photograph staff and office environment images to be used in various media, including blogs, website content, and social media
• Search the website to update photos as needed with minimal supervision

Videography

• Produce and edit videos that will be uploaded internally and externally

Graphic Design

• Produce and edit illustrations (banners, hero images, web body artwork) that will be uploaded to internal and client web design projects by web development teammates
• Produce and edit basic logo design and brand identity elements for internal and client projects

Social Media

• Ability to maintain various social media accounts, blogs, and podcasts (set up, edit, publish)

Requirements

• Must work from our East Montgomery, AL Office (3578 Quad Parkway, 36116)
• Must be familiar with professional DSLR equipment
• Must be familiar with the use of essential portable audio and lighting equipment
• Must be familiar with Canva, Serif Affinity, or Adobe Creative software
• Must be familiar with Final Cut Pro or similar video editing software
• Must be familiar with Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Pinterest, Twitter
• Must coordinate with the Traffic Manager daily to update project status and respond to client feedback
